This video, recorded in September 2022, features Félix Blume. In this lecture, he shared insights into his collaborative projects, such as “Suspiros,” where children in Zapotalito responded to the sounds of a lagoon with handmade ocarinas, and “Rumors from the Sea,” a sound installation in Thailand that transformed bamboo seawalls into singing flutes, giving voice to climate change.
Through his award-winning works, presented at international festivals and exhibitions worldwide, Félix invited the audience to reflect on myths, environmental challenges, and the sonic landscapes of our world. This lecture offers a unique perspective on the art of listening and its power to connect us to our surroundings.
