PIRATE LISTENINGS by Jérôme Fino & Félix Blume (Paris, France)

Félix Blume is a sonorities engineer and researcher. Jérôme Fino is a video-artist whose work relies on sound.
Their common centre of interest converges naturally in making visible what we hear and hearing what we see. One of them films in Marseilles and the other one in Mexico City.

During a first invitation to Paris, they used Sonic Protest festival as a context, a material, a field for research in vivo.
Questioning the way concerts are presented, Félix Blume and Jérôme Fino take advantage of the event’s circumstances to propose other listening and reception possibilities, by modulating, among other factors, their transmission mediums.
