Ciudade(s) Invisible(s)

The darkness of the room hides several sound constellations that visitors can operate by pulling on the chains that are within reach. These actions activate LED lights on the ceiling and trigger a sound, creating a sonic landscape of Mexico City as imagined and shared by a group of blind residents. Some sounds are part of their daily lives, while others are imagined—between past and present, between dream and reality. The sonic stimuli invite the visitor to listen to their own invisible city, guided by their ears rather than their eyes.
